Why can't I hear my recordings?

When recording audio or video, the playback is silent and the Done button is dimmed out, so you can’t finish.

Resolution

Please allow the app to use your iPad's microphone:

1. Open your iPad's Settings app.
2. In the left pane, scroll down and tap Apps.
3. Find and tap the app name.
4. On the right, enable access to the Microphone.

It should now be possible to record successfully.
