DocsPlus App update: Exam Mode, DocReader and Special Access
Special Access is here in the DocsPlus App
Access for all to our software has been a core value for Crick Software for the last 30 years. This new update brings improved special access to DocsPlus for iPad and Chromebook users. As with all our products, switch access can easily be enabled in DocsPlus for iPad and Chromebook. Users can also enable SuperKeys; alongside our predictor this can be transformational for children who cannot access a qwerty keyboard.
Special Access users in year 7 will be familiar with Clicker’s switch access and SuperKeys, meaning they can smoothly transfer to DocsPlus support when transitioning to secondary school.
A new and improved DocReader
You will notice the DocReader has a new and improved look. The page view allows for much easier scrolling and searching. Users also now have the option to have 3 PDFs open at the same time – great for editing a PDF alongside a question sheet.
We’ve also improved speech in the DocReader to bring speech in line with DocsPlus Desktop. Students can more easily choose sections of complex texts in their PDFs that they wish to have read aloud – just place the cursor and click read. The new update also includes dual view, meaning students can access both a document and a PDF at the same time.
